Flower structure up close
"Isn't it prettey inside there!"
Student quote while looking in the microscope.
Del Rio Elementary
Every student gets our amazingly simple to use binocular microscope and oohs and aahhhs at how complex a little flower can be. Go out and find a dandilion or bring in a bunch of flowers from home. The hidden microscopic pollinators add an extra dimension of discovery.
Light allows us to see (Physics 1-PS4-2). Make observations to construct an evidence-based account that objects can be seen only when illuminated.
