Weather Comes in Seasons
Earth's Systems: 3-ESS2-1. Represent dat in tables and graphical displays to describe typical weather conditions expected during a particular season.
Hi I'm zooming above your head up in space. I'm a special satellite named Landsat. My friends and I have been analyzing the earth from space since 1973 and we have sent you lots of amazing images and data. As you compare these images from year to year see if you can tell how our normal weather patterns are changing as our earth heats up due to global warming.
Meet the satellites that help us see our Planet Change
You will Be Amazed by what you see!
It's Party Time!!!
Safe Solar Viewing (Grades 3-6 Only)
Each of your students will love tracking the progress of the solar eclipse with an Oreo Cookie! Just twist it apart and use it to model current progress of the eclipse as it occurs. Making the cookie connection will help students understand how the sun and moon interact to make the crescent shapes that their pin hole projectors show. Eat it after the eclipse :)
